1. Technology is a means to an end, and that end is people.
2. Technology changes all the time, people don’t change.
3. Because my time is limited, I’d rather focus on the constant than the variable: people over technology. This means studying psychology over a new shiny web framework, for instance.
4. Work backward to the technology. Find, understand and define people's needs first then work your way back up to technology. Don’t start with the technology and figure out where it’s going to fit in.
